Adding a Background and Refried Paper

Folks. I love you. I do. But please remember when answering requests about background images not working that if they are using refried paper its most likely because they are not using !important (as its currently not noted in the FAQ this is necessary, I've asked Rahaeli to fix this) (rahaeli fixed it :) ). Without !important then the hard coded color of the background remains even with transparency applied.

You would need to use !important for each element of the background override so you'd need one of the following.

This one will override the hardcoded color for the background of the style and will leave the background of the header area at the top of the page and of the titles in the side bar area in place.

GLOBAL_HEAD<=
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
background-image: url(http://www.somepicture.com/image.jpg)!important;
background-repeat: no-repeat!important;
background-attachment: fixed!important;
background-position: top left!important;
}
-->
</style>
<=GLOBAL_HEAD

If they would like to remove the backgrounds on the header and sidebar titles then they would also need to add an override for transparency to eliminate them. In this case they would use the following override.

GLOBAL_HEAD<=
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
background-image: url(http://www.somepicture.com/image.jpg)!important;
background-attachment: fixed!important;
}
table, tr, td, .shadowed {
background: transparent;
}
-->
</style>
<=GLOBAL_HEAD

I thank you. My sanity thanks you. We are all very thankful.

You guys are awesome.
